Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2015 - Results Declared

Punjab School Education Board has released result of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test 2015 (PSTET).The test was conducted on 13th December 2015 for selection of Teachers for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) and Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage).

General Category candidates with minimum 90 Marks and SC/ST/BC/OBC/Handicapped candidates with minimum 82 marks will qualify.Candidates may visit official website www.pstet.org.in to check results.Candidate may enter Application Number or Roll Number to view results.

Department of School Education Punjab has released notification for Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test - 2015 (PSTET) which will be conducted by Punjab School Education Board for selection of Teacher for Primary Stage & Elementary Stage.Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates through www.pstet.org.in.

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test - 2015 (PSTET) is scheduled to be held on 13th December 2015 conducted by Punjab School Education Board for selection of Teachers for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) and Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage).Candidates may apply online from 8.11.2015 to 23.11.2015

Name of Post : Teachers for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) and Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)

Education Qualification : 

1.Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) : Senior Secondary or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education

2.Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) : Candidate must be Graduate and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduate with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Graduate with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Selection Process : PSTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).PSTET will consist of two papers: Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V and Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.Syllabus for PSTET available on official website.

Examination Fee : Examination Fee charges are Rs.600/- (Only Paper I or II) or Rs. 1200 /- (Both Paper I & II) for General/ BC/ OBC Category candidates and Rs.300 (Only Paper I or II) or Rs.600 (Both Paper I & II) for SC / ST Category/Differently Abled Ex-Servicemen Self-only.Examination fee may be pay online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking or through payment challan in State Bank of Patiala / HDFC Bank.

How to Apply : Eligible candidates may apply online through PSTET website pstet.org.in through link "Apply Online" from 8th November 2015 to 25th November 2015.Candidate must filled application form and upload scanned images of recent colored photograph and signature as per instructions.After submission of application,candidate must take printout of confirmation page for record and keep it for reference.
