PSSSB Recruitment 2016 - 14 Fishery Officer Posts Apply Online

Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has released an employment notification for recruitment to 14 posts of Fishery Officer in Fisheries Department. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates from 15th November 2016 to 6th December 2016.

Scale of Pay : Rs.10,300 - 34,800/- with G.P Rs. 3,800/-

Age Limit : Minimum age limit for Fishery Officer post i 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 1st January 2016. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 42 years for Schedule Caste (SC) & Backward Classes (BC) of Punjab.

Educational Qualification : (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science/ Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Zoology as one of the subject with Diploma in Inland Fisheries from recognized Institute. (ii) Candidate must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi

Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs. 600 for General Category, Sportsmen (General) & Freedom Fighters, Rs. 150 for SC/OBC, Sportsmen (SC), Rs. 300 for PWD category and Rs. 100 for Ex-servicemen.Candidate can remit application fee at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) at next day after submission of online application

Selection Process : Selection will be made through written examination

Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has released a new employment notification for recruitment to 2200 posts of Clerk, Clerk cum Data Entry Operator, Steno-Typist, Junior Scale Stenographer in various Departments of Punjab Government. Eligible candidates may submit online applications through PSSSB's website from 7th September 2016 to 27th September 2016.

Age Limit as on 01.01.2016 : Minimum age limit is 18 years for all categories and upper age limit is 37 years for General Category, 42 years for Scheduled Caste & OBC categories and 45 years for Govt Employees.

Education Qualification : (i) Candidate must possess Graduate Degree from any recognized University/ Institution as per UGC guidelines.(ii) Must have studied Punjabi upto Matriculation.(iii) Candidate must also possess one hundred and twenty hours course with experience in the use of Personal computer on Information Technology OR 'O' Level certificate in Computer Information Technology.

Selection Process : Selection for Clerk/ Clerk cum Data Entry Operator post will be made through Typing Test in Punjab where applicants have to type 300 words at speed of 30 words per minute in 'Assess or Joy Font'. For selection of Steno-Typist & Junior Scale Stenographer, A merit list will be prepared based on Stenography Test.

Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs. 600 for General Category, Rs. 150 for SC/BC, Rs.100 for Ex-servicemen and Rs. 300 for PWD candidates.Application fee may be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India.

How to Apply : Eligible candidates may apply online through website of PSSSB www.punjabsssb.gov.in from 7th September 2016 to 27th September 2016 till 5.00 pm.Candidates have to upload scanned images of all required documents, passport size photograph, signature with application form.
